Should my book be formatted according to your specifications?
Yes. Your manuscript must be saved in a word processor application such as Microsoft Word or Word Perfect and it should be submitted as a single file. You must also format the text according to the IndyPublish guidelines.

What exactly is a graphic?
Graphics are any sort of computer images that are not text. A graphic may be a drawing, picture, illustration, photograph, map, or other representational image not textual in nature.

How should my graphics be submitted?
Your graphics must be uploaded as separate files and not embedded in the manuscript itself. Save all images as TIF or JPEG files with a resolution of at least 300dpi. Be consistent when naming your image files (ex: Image1.tif, Image2.tif, etc.) If hard copy images are submitted, IndyPublish will scan them into useable digital files. The hard copy submitted must be no larger than 8.5 x 11 inches. You must be specific about exactly where in the text you want which graphic inserted (e.g., IMAGE 1 GOES HERE).
