You may submit a photo of yourself for placement on the back cover of your book.* Please decide how you want to submit your photo and follow the appropriate IndyPublish guidelines below. Black and white or color photos may be submitted. Submitting your photo as a digital file: All images should be saved as TIFF or JPEG with a resolution of at least 300dpi. Your photo should not be embedded into your manuscript. Please keep your image as a separate file. Submitting your photo as hard copy: If you are unable to submit your photo as a digital file, you can submit your photo as hard copy if this service is included in your publishing package or you can select this option from the Add-On Services menu. IndyPublish will scan the photo for you if a hardcopy is provided. The hard copy should be no larger than 8.5 by 11 inches and it should be on a matte stock for scanning purposes. If you are submitting your manuscript using our online submissions method, please indicate that a hardcopy of your author photo will be sent separately via mail. *The author photo is entirely optional and you are not required to submit a photo of yourself if you do not want it on the back cover of your book.
