Can I get review/desk/donation copies if I am a professor, a reviewer, or a non-profit organization?

IndyPublish.com is a publishing service that publishes books for our authors/patrons. Rules and policies regarding review/desk/donation copies for each particular title are individually set by our authors/patrons.

Why are some books priced so high and some priced so low?

Our authors/patrons also set the retail prices for the works that are submitted, and we often do not know how the various prices are set. Our authors/patrons have set prices that range from a couple of dollars to thousands of dollars and we are not privy to the numerous factors that go into each author/patron's decision about pricing. Sometimes an author/patron can set a high price because he/she thinks that the market for the title will be very limited. Sometimes an author/patron can set a low price that is actually at a financial loss in order to reach the widest audience.

Can orders be placed directly with IndyPublish?

Book orders cannot be placed directly with us.

Why are some of the books that I purchased, published by IndyPublish, so full of errors and typos?

We regret and are always sorry to hear when a reader is not satisfied with one of our books.

But please understand that IndyPublish.com is a publishing service whereby we publish whatever content is provided to us by the author/patron. We do not make editorial decisions except to refuse the publication of pornographic or hate material.

Some of our patrons provide very high quality content and pay for our high-end services to produce top quality books. Some provide poorly produced content and do not spend the time, money, and effort to make a polished product.

IndyPublish is concerned with the physical quality of the book that is produced (such as binding and type quality) as well as its distribution. We have no control over the textual content.

We also greatly appreciate readers who take the time to tell us about specific errors, typos, and poor penmanship. In most cases, we will pass on that information to the author/patron so that they can make quality improvements. In some cases, we may take action to remove a book from distribution due to poor quality.

How can I find out more about a particular title or edition?

Information about our titles are available through major booksellers and distributors worldwide. To obtain further information about any of our titles, you can check with the booksellers such as Amazon.com or BN.com . If the information is not available there, email us at Books@IndyPublish.com . If we can not answer your question, we will forward it to the author/patron concerned.

Do you have plans to publish a particular title?

We are a publishing service for authors and patrons.  Our authors and patrons decide what is to be published.  We are often not privy to the plans and thinking of our authors and patrons about which titles will be published and when.
